Privacy Policy

The short version

• You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name or contact details.
• We do not set cookies, use analytics or advertising trackers, or sell or share personal information.
• Numbers you enter in our calculators are used only to compute your result and are not stored.

Information processed when you visit

Like every website, our servers receive technical information with each request: your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time. We use it only to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse (for example, rate limiting holds IP addresses in memory for about one minute). Our web server and hosting provider may keep standard access logs for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

Calculator inputs

Salaries, locations and other values you enter in the paycheck, relocation and job offer tools are either calculated in your browser or sent to our server only to compute the result. We do not store them or link them to you.

Third-party services

MetroBasis self-hosts all fonts, stylesheets and scripts directly on our servers, so loading a page does not send requests or your IP address to Google Fonts, third-party CDNs or external analytics services. If we add third-party services in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.

Children

MetroBasis is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights and requests

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you. Because we do not keep personal profiles, there is usually nothing stored to retrieve, but we will answer every request. Email [email protected].
